The graduation ceremony took place on Saturday 3 December. It was an event filled with song, a message from the Word of God by our key note speaker Dr Japie Malan and encouraging words from the principal, Dr Brian deVries and Mr Kennth Ndou, the chairman of the board.
Family and friends yodeled and clapped hands as the graduates took to the stage to receive their certificates. Seven students that completed the basics in pastoral studies, a programme presented in Zulu, received their certificates with bright smiles. Mukhanyo also had four graduates that completed the one year unaccredited certificate in Christian studies. We had full-time and distance students, as far as Kasama Zambia, that graduated in the accredited Diploma in Theology programme. They were a good number of thirty-eight students in total. It was a proud moment for the eight Bachelor of Theology students to receive their certificates after four years of hard work. A hearty well done to all our students! After the closing of the official ceremony it was time for the taking of group photos in the newly build square. Students and guests also spent an enjoyable time clicking away, so much so, that lunch seemed to be the furthest thing from their minds. |
