Every so often the Council for Higher Education (CHE) expects all tertiary institutions to evaluate or renew their qualifications so that the accreditation of their programmes can be continued. Therefore, Mukhanyo’s academic staff had to work hard in the past few years to make sure that all their programmes are aligned with SAQA and the CHE’s requirements.
This also applies to a submission for accreditation of the new BTh (Honours) as well as two higher certificate qualifications. These programmes were separately submitted for accreditation between 2014 and the beginning of this year. |
The staff at Mukhanyo can now look forward to the CHE’s reply. It is uncertain when this can be expected. If still this year, students can start to enroll as from the beginning of 2018.
