When we think about so many that followed the Lord faithfully and have gone before us, we are indeed encouraged to do the same – keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus while we run the race He chose for us. He, as the founder and perfecter of our faith, understands our needs and difficulties and will give us the strength for each day. We thank Him for His grace!

We gladly share a few prayer requests again:
- Thank the Lord with us for His hand of protection over the ministry of Mukhanyo and His provision for us as a College.
- At the time of writing our classes for the second semester are about to start. Please pray with us:
- That our students will have courage for the studies of the second semester as well as the desire to learn more from God’s Word.
- That our students will be able to meet their financial obligations regarding their fees and other expenses related to their studies.
- That the new students will quickly feel at home in our midst.
- For our lecturers – that the Lord will guide them as they prepare for classes and use them to convey not only academic knowledge, but also spiritual truths as they teach.
- For the mentorship sessions – that students will share their burdens and that lecturers will be able to give advice from Scripture. Pray for good relationships to be built between faculty and students.
- For the weekly Devotions that are held at each centre – that it will be a time that is spiritually refreshing to staff and students as they worship together.

- Thursday 4 and Friday 5 August – Contact classes for our Honours students.
- Friday 12 August – Staff Vision Day (for all MTC staff)
- Monday 15 August – Strategic Forum (for a group of managers and senior staff of MTC)
- Thursday 18 and Friday 19 August – Contact classes for our Honours students
- Saturday 20 August – Day Seminar at KwaMhlanga campus on “Christian Character”
- Monday 22 August – Student Support Committee meeting
- Monday 29 August – Audit & Risk Committee meeting
- Wednesday 31 August – Education Committee meeting
- Thank the Lord with us for the progress with Material Development. At every start of the semester we are grateful to notice the number and quality of Study Guides available. Pray that the Lord will bless the work that is being done on the Study Guides as well as the recording and editing of DVDs.
- We thank the Lord for our staff that serve Him faithfully in the MTC family. Pray that each one will be walking with God and that He will bless and encourage them and use them to His glory!
