Mukhanyo Prayer and Praise – May 2022

What a privilege that we may experience our God’s steadfast love, His kindness and His faithfulness! May He help us all to turn to Him in prayer and to the Scriptures daily to learn more and that we may know His guidance.

  1. Thank the Lord with us for His provision for the Mukhanyo ministry! We manage to make ends meet from month to month and can continue unhindered. We thank the Lord for our precious donors!
  2. Thank the Lord with us for a blessed and well attended Ladies Conference that was held at  KwaMhlanga campus on Saturday 26 March. We thank the Lord for this direct ministry to local churches and Christians by holding conferences, workshops and seminars. It is our prayer that more of this can be done and that the Lord will continue to use and bless it.
  3. Classes resumed on 19 April and our contact students are back for the last few weeks of the semester. Pray that they will manage their studies, won’t lose courage and grow in their relationship with the  Lord.
  4. Our Distance students often need a lot of perseverance as most of them can only study part-time and normally take a few years to complete their course. Pray that the Lord will encourage them and bless them through their studies and that they will continue faithfully.
  5. The following is on the calendar for May:
    1. Saturday 7 May – Workshop on Teaching the Bible to Youth and Children at KwaMhlanga campus.
    2. Saturday 14 May – Mukhanyo Annual General Meeting.
    3. Monday 16 May – Student Support Committee meeting.
    4. Monday 16 May – Audit and Risk Committee meeting.
    5. Tuesday 17 May – Exams start for all contact students at five centres (until 3 June).
    6. Thursday 19 May – Operations Committee meeting.
    7. Monday 23 May – Executive Committee meeting.
    8. Wednesday 25 May – HR Committee meeting.
  6. At the time of writing, registration for the annual Bible College Consultation has opened. Pray for the Lord’s help with all the preparations (speakers that prepare for their sessions and for the practical matters) and that many will register to attend this event that will be held in June, God willing.
  7. We thank the Lord that the Mukhanyo family suffered no direct or serious losses as results of the floods in the coastal area of KwaZulu/Natal and the Eastern Cape. Please pray that the Lord will help our staff and students that are living and ministering in that area to be an encouragement and blessing in this hour of need.

Thank you for continued support in prayer!
