Mukhanyo welcomes two new family members!

Annemieke Pouwels and Benjamin Zulu both joined the Mukhanyo family in March and we look forward to working with them.

Benjamin Zulu is not new to the Mukhanyo family and it almost feels as if Mukhanyo is just welcoming him back; although this time not as a student but as part of the academic personnel.

He completed his BTH-degree at Mukhanyo where after he successfully completed his Honours degree in Ancient Greek in 2013 and his M.Div. in 2014 at the North-West University. He is now busy with his MTh in Greek at the NWU while serving the Lord as minister in the Kempton Park Reformed Church Mooifontein (Multicultural Worship Service) and simultaneously lecturing New Testament at Mukhanyo. Benjamin has a fiancée – Florence Mbewe (known as Floben) whom he is marrying in July.

Annemieke Pouwels was appointed as Material Development and Compliance Manager and will assists the Head of Academics with the development of quality teaching material in all programmes.

She will furthermore oversee all matters of compliance with the DHET, CHE, and other statutory bodies regarding site and programme accreditation; coordinate the development of teaching material and will liaise with lecturers to ensure that all module and programme material is suitable for Mukhanyo’s models of learning. Annemieke comes to us with more than 10 years of experience in these areas and is well equipped for her calling.  She has a B.Ed. degree in teaching, B.Ed. Honours in teaching and learning (curriculum studies), and MA degree in higher education management.

We are thankful that the Lord has called both these people to come and serve at Mukhanyo and we pray that He will guide and equip them in the years to come for their specific callings.
