Our students’ holidays

Very few Mukhanyo students are in a position to enjoy a real holiday. So what did they do during this year’s July winter holidays?  We asked them, and here are some of the answers:

  • Zakhele Mnisi was serving teenagers and discussed topics such how we must conduct ourselves as Christians, effective Bible study, the way we dress and how it can lead others to sin, sex and the way it affects us in the future, and the power of cell phones and their negative effects on our lives.
  • Kgotso Maikhoso preached and evangelised in hospitals and in schools.
  • Sydney Mabaso took part in a church planting project in Limpopo Province. This included house visits, preaching every Sunday, Bible studies and evangelising around the village of Modimolle.
  • Sabelo Phukushe did door-to-door evangelisation.
  • Nkululeko Sibanyoni also did evangelisation, house calls and teaching the Word of God.
  • Happy Mtlatleng visited a grandmother who is very sick, did some house visits, and assisted with Sunday school by teaching from the book of Joshua.
  • Zegement Hannes Grove was part of a group of nine from a church in Centurion who went on an outreach to Botswana where they did practical work, preached and did Bible studies.
  • Titus Padi did Bible studies with different congregations.
  • Given Xaba evangelised for two weeks in and around Kwaggafontein in KwaNdebele.
  • Fanuel Mahanjani, who is already a pastor, preached at funerals, taught the Word of God, and did personal evangelization, for example during weddings when he encouraged people to turn to God because the Kingdom of God is near.
  • Given Ngoma evangelised in the community and did outreach work in KwaMhlanga.
