Short Bios of the speakers:
Sue Sammons – Sue is married to Peter, who is the Pastor of Germiston Baptist Church. They have been at Germiston for 18 1/2 years. Prior to that they were in Pastoral ministry at Newcastle Baptist Church. Sue is passionate about liberating women to live God glorifying, grace enriched lives, by teaching the Bible. She oversees the women’s ministry in the church, by teaching a weekly Ladies Bible Study and a monthly young women’s group. Sue is involved in a counseling ministry to women and together with her husband Peter, give marriage counselling. She also teaches Sunday School. Sue enjoys getting together with other Pastor and Elder’s wives, on a bi monthly basis, for planned discussions and book reviews. For relaxation Sue is a part-time amateur artist and loves reading. “I am indebted to God, for giving my husband and I a wonderful daughter Shirley, and son in law, Steven. In God’s infinite wisdom, He took our son, aged 22 to glory 10 years ago.”

​Delmarie Blackbeard – Delmarie is married to Richard Blackbeard and they have three adult children. She is an accomplished musician and has been involved with church music ministry for over 40 years, together with children’s and woman’s ministry. She has been instrumental in starting and running a Christian school and also home-schooled her own children for part of their school years. For eighteen years her husband was a part-time elder at their church and Delmarie ably supported him in his ministry during this time. She loves reading and creative activities. 

Megan Wooley – Megan has been married for 24 years, been a mother for 18 years and a pastor’s wife for 15 years. She is a “stay at home” mom with 3 biological and 4 adopted children.

Wynie Malan – Wynie is the Financial Manager and Executive Assistant at Mukhanyo Theological College. She joined the college in January 2015 after serving for twenty-five years in the Dorothea Mission. The administrative and practical experience she gained in this multi-cultural organisation is a great benefit to her ongoing ministry. Wynie is also part of Mukhanyo’s ministry to students’ and pastors’ wives. Her husband Jacques serves as a Senior Lecturer.
