Application requirements

On applying to study at Mukhanyo Theological College, certified copies of the following documents are to be submitted along with your application form: (Please note that without these documents your application will not be processed.)

1. Qualifications

  • Matric certificate or equivalent school-leaving certificate (Not applicable to applications for Focus)
  • Transcripts/certificates of any other completed qualifications

2. Proof of identity

  • South African applicants: Identity Document (ID)
  • Non-South African Applicants living in South Africa: Passport and Residency Visa/Permit.
  • Non-South African Applicants living outside South Africa: Passport

3. Pastoral testimonial

  • A completed Church Leader’s Testimonial from your pastor stating your current membership status and describing your Christian character, as well as their contact details.

4. ID photo

  • One recent, clear ID photograph

Next steps: Once all documents have been received, you will then be contacted for an interview and basic entry level tests may need to be done.

Local Learning students ONLY: A Local Learning tutor will contact you to arrange a short interview, and complete the Tutor Recommendation Form.
