If you’re a Christian needing some basic training in order to better fulfil your role in your local church, then the Mukhanyo Focus Certificate is for you.
This programme provides a simple biblical foundation for academic learning and Christian ministry. This programme is not accredited, but is offered as church-based training.
This is a one year learning programme for church members seeking to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture. It’s designed to equip Christians for their role in the local church as pastors, elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, church office workers or worship leaders.
The Focus certificate consists of elective courses grouped into a Certificate in Christian Ministry tracks. The track requires 7 courses and each course requires about 40 hours of learning and includes short assignments and an exam. It’s presented by a Local Learning tutor at a registered Mukhanyo Local Learning site.Â
For the Zulu courses the study guides as well as the lecturing is offered in isiZulu.
Students will be spiritually enriched and able to apply what they have learned in their community and congregation. Strengthen church members in the use of their God given gifts to serve one another. It is directed towards the edifying of the Church and the evangelisation of the community.

The entrance requirements are basic isiZulu skills and a testimony of being a true Christian.
