Focus Certificate In isiZulu

Overview

If you are a Christian seeking basic training in order to better fulfil your role in your local church, then the Mukhanyo Focus Certificate is for you.

This programme provides a simple biblical foundation for academic learning and Christian ministry. Although it is not accredited, it is offered as church-based training.

This is a one-year learning programme for church members who desire to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture. It is designed to equip Christians for their role in the local church as pastors, elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, church office workers, or worship leaders.

The Focus Certificate consists of elective courses grouped into a Certificate in Christian Ministry track. The track requires seven courses, and each course requires approximately forty hours of learning, including short assignments and an examination. It is presented by a Local Learning tutor at a registered Mukhanyo Local Learning site.

For the Zulu courses, the study guides as well as the lecturing are offered in isiZulu.

Benefits

Students will be spiritually enriched and will be able to apply what they have learned in their community and congregation. The programme strengthens church members in the use of their God-given gifts to serve one another. It is directed towards the edification of the Church and the evangelisation of the community.

The programme is available at our various Local Learning Sites.
