Yes, we are fully registered and accredited with the Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET), the Council on Higher Education (CHE), and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

The duration depends on the programme and the study mode of your choice.

The Focus certificates (Focus Certificate and Focus Certificate In isiZulu) take a minimum of 6 months for a full-time student, and a maximum of 18 months for a part-time student.

The Higher Certificates (Bible Teaching and Church Ministry) programmes take one year for a full-time student and a maximum of 3 years for a part-time student.

The Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) programme typically takes four years for a full-time student and approximately six years for a part-time student.

The Bachelor of Theology Honours take a minimum of 18 months to complete.

Yes, we offer Focus certificates  for prospects without a matric certificate.

We offer a type of distance referred to as Local Learning. This programme is not an online learning, self-study, or correspondence programme. Rather, it is a programme that requires group learning by students in a Local Learning Site under a tutor. The tutor is responsible for facilitating classes, marking assessments, corresponding with Mukhanyo Theological College, and spiritual formation.
