Mukhanyo Theological College is a Christian educational institution based in South Africa with an expanding network of campuses and local learning sites within South Africa and southern Africa. Our mission is to glorify God by equipping church leaders and other Christians in their communities.
Mukhanyo is seeking applicants for the following positions:
Centre Manager: Cape Town

Key roles and responsibilities:
- Manage all activities of the new Cape Town Centre, including marketing, facilitation, staff coordination, student support, administration, and related responsibilities.
- Work closely with the Regional Coordinator and the national Mukhanyo team to assist in establishing a wide network of local learning sites across the Western Cape.
- Teach at the diploma and degree levels in the areas of Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, and/or other subjects, to be determined by previous experience and present need.
- Work with local churches and leaders to present the ministry and market for students.
- Manage the various staff members, facilitators and others serving at the centre.
- Coordinate communication with executive and academic management, the student records office, the finance department, and other internal role players.
- Oversee the centre finances, assist with donor relations, and give inputs into annual budgeting.
- Participate in various meetings, planning sessions, and other related Mukhanyo forums.
The ideal candidate is a Minister and Senior Lecturer with strong management & admin skills.
The desired candidate will:
- Demonstrate faith in Christ as defined by the Bible and as expressed consistently through a godly lifestyle that radiates the fruits of the Spirit with active participation in a Christian church.
- Promise to uphold the mission, vision, confessional statements, and values of the institution.
- Ideally hold a master’s or doctor’s degree in Christian theology, have many years of experience in pastoral ministry and ideally at least three years of experience in formal theological education.
- Have previous experience in management, education management, or education.
- Show ability to effectively communicate, also in writing, as appropriate for the audience.
- Demonstrate organizational and planning skills, timeliness, information gathering and monitoring skills, teamwork, and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Show competency in personal initiative, reliability, confidentiality, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills with the ability to provide administration within a multicultural institution.
- Feel called by God to serve at Mukhanyo and to thus work for the coming of Christ’s kingdom.

Visiting Lecturers
Mukhanyo also welcomes experienced pastors to apply for part-time teaching opportunities. We believe that future pastors are best taught by experienced ministers who are presently serving in pastoral ministries. So we welcome the involvement of local ministers who have suitable teaching skills and many years of ministry experience. Please submit your CV to the Principal (brian.devries@mtc.ac.za) if you feel called to serve in this way. Applicants with the financial support and oversight of local churches will be given preference.
Local Learning Site Tutors
Mukhanyo welcomes applications for new Local Learning Sites across Southern Africa.
Experienced church leaders are encouraged to submit an application to become a volunteer tutor and lead a local site.
