If you’re a Christian needing some basic training in order to better fulfil your role in your local church, then the Mukhanyo Focus Certificate is for you.
This programme provides a simple biblical foundation for academic learning and Christian ministry. This programme is not accredited, but is offered as church-based training.
The Focus certificate consists of elective courses grouped into a tracks leading to a Certficate in Church Leadership, Certificate in Church Growth, and Certificate in Church Life. Each track requires 7 courses and each course requires about 40 hours of learning and includes short assignments and an exam. It’s presented by a Local Learning tutor at a registered Mukhanyo Local Learning site or lecturer at a Mukhanyo campus / centre.
This is a one year local learning programme for church members seeking to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture. It’s designed to equip Christians for their role in the local church as pastors, elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, church office workers or worship leaders.
Students will be spiritually enriched and able to apply what they have learned in their community and congregation.
Strengthen church members in the use of their God given gifts to serve one another.
It is directed towards the edifying of the Church and the evangelisation of the community.
The programme is available at our KwaMhlanga Campus and Rustenburg Advanced Learning Centre or at various Local Learning Sites.​
This is a learning programme in theology with a strong church focus.
The entrance requirements are basic English skills and a testimony of being a true Christian.
