If you are a Christian needing some basic training in order to better fulfil your role in your local church, then the Mukhanyo Focus Certificate is for you.
This programme provides a simple biblical foundation for academic learning and Christian ministry. It is not accredited but is offered as church-based training.
The Focus Certificate consists of elective courses grouped into tracks leading to a Certificate in Church Leadership, a Certificate in Church Growth, and a Certificate in Church Life. Each track requires seven courses, and each course requires approximately forty hours of learning, including short assignments and an examination. It is presented by a Local Learning tutor at a registered Mukhanyo Local Learning site or by a lecturer at a Mukhanyo campus or centre.
This is a one-year Local Learning programme for church members who seek to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture. It is designed to equip Christians for their role in the local church as pastors, elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, church office workers, or worship leaders.
