“First and foremost, Mukhanyo Theological College is not just like any other institution; it is a Christian institution,” says Given Xaba. According to him, Mukhanyo offers a very high level of quality education. But Mukhanyo’s focus is not only on academics; it also puts much emphasis on Christian character.
“Before I started at Mukhanyo, I was discouraged by some people telling me that Mukhanyo does not believe and teach the Holy Spirit. This I found out is not the case; the college believes and teaches about the Holy Spirit and His work in the life of a believer.” |

Mr Xaba just finished his honours degree with Mukhanyo and hopes to continue with a masters degree soon. He presently is also tutoring a distance class for Mukhanyo based at Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga.
Mr Xaba encourages potential students to consider studying with Mukhanyo because “by the time you finish your studies you will be well prepared for the ministry.” He says this with confidence because the curriculum covers everything one needs for ministry.
