Mukhanyo Theological College offers theological training to students who desire to grow in their knowledge of Scripture, and prepare themselves for service in churches and communities. The Rustenburg Centre provides an opportunity for students in the area to study while remaining involved in their local communities.
Since discovering the benefits of studying theology, Peggy Gama, a Mukhanyo Rustenburg student, has decided to help market the theological college. Peggy recently visited residents in Paardekraal, where she spoke to community members about the importance of biblical knowledge and theological training.
During an outreach, Peggy had conversations with approximately 50 people in a day, encouraging believers to deepen their understanding of Scripture and to equip themselves for more effective ministry, and service within their communities. Subsequent to that first effort, she continued sharing with more than 200 people.
“Many people want to know more about the Bible and how to apply God’s Word in their daily lives,” Peggy shared. “I want to encourage as many believers as possible to equip themselves with better knowledge of what the Bible teaches so that we can shine our light more effectively for the Kingdom of God.”
According to Eben le Roux, manager of Mukhanyo Rustenburg, they are excited to involve students in their efforts to serve the local church and community, to expose students and develop essential skills, but also to “add more hands on deck”.
