Mukhanyo Theological College is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev Antonio Coppola as Academic Dean. Rev Coppola brings extensive experience in theological education and pastoral ministry, and he is committed to serving the institution by strengthening its academic programmes and supporting both faculty and students in their theological training.
In reflecting on his new role, Rev Coppola notes his eagerness to engage more closely with Mukhanyo’s faculty, to enhance the quality and theological depth of the curriculum, and to contribute to the college’s broader impact across southern Africa. He emphasises the importance of rigorous theological education in equipping students to serve Christ’s church faithfully.
With a background in Anglican ministry and a firm commitment to Reformed theological convictions, Rev Coppola has a deep appreciation for the historical and doctrinal foundations of the faith. He is particularly concerned with the need for theological clarity in the South African church context and is dedicated to preparing students to handle God’s Word with care and precision.
