Much is happening at Mukhanyo during these months of the third quarter! We have a great team of experienced staff members who are dedicated to serving our students, making this ministry of Mukhanyo a blessing to many. Allow me to share with you a few notable events and plans during this period:
Most notable is the graduation ceremony that took place on Friday 12 September at our KwaMhlanga campus, with Rev. Benjamin Zulu giving the keynote address. Due to the increasing number of graduates, we now hold two ceremonies each year – in March and in September. We are grateful for the success of these students, and for all the lecturers and staff who served faithfully to make this day happen.
The quarterly governance meetings also took place in September. The Board of Directors met as usual at the Pretoria campus, preceded a week prior by meetings of two subcommittees: the Audit & Risk Committee that deals with the finances and related matters, and the Education Committee that oversees all matters of teaching and learning. We thank the Lord for the committed and experienced directors who serve on these committees to provide godly oversight and governance for our ministry.
The annual Local Learning Forum will soon be held for three days, from 30 September to 2 October, led by Rev. Glyn Williams and Rev. Tebogo Rakgalakane. Most of Mukhanyo’s regional coordinators, and many tutors come together in KwaMhlanga each year to review all matters related to our 100+ local learning sites across Africa. Please pray for this event as it is very important for our wide network of local learning leaders and their growing number of students.
The last Faculty Forum of the year will be held on Monday 6 October, with several speakers including Rev. Antonio Coppola, Dr Victor d’Assonville, and Rev. Isaac Malake.
Two masters-level courses, as well, will be facilitated in October at our Pretoria Campus: Dr d’Assonville will teach Calvin‘s Theology and Dr John Span will teach Research Methodology.

Finally, the Mukhanyo team has started to already make plans for the 2026 academic year. Registration is already open for new and returning students, and interest appears to be strong. The Academic team is busy drafting the teaching schedules for all six campuses and centres, and it is time again to finalize the budgets and other staffing matters for the new year.
Please continue to pray for Mukhanyo’s ministry – the Lord has allowed us to shape the lives of many students. We hope that, by Gods’ grace, we can continue to serve many more churches and denominations with well-trained men who will faithfully proclaim the word of the Lord in Africa.
