Mukhanyo Theological College is pleased to provide an update on its Cape Town centre, the newest addition to the College’s network of learning facilities. Since opening, the centre has been steadily establishing itself as a hub for Christian theological education, offering both the Higher Certificate in Bible Teaching and first- and second-year subjects in the Bachelor of Theology programme.
“Despite the challenges that all learning centres face, we are encouraged by the commitment and enthusiasm of our students who continue their studies with us,” said Rev. Neil Henry, Centre Manager of Mukhanyo Cape Town. “Seeing the facility take shape and watching our students engage deeply with their learning reminds us why this work is so important.”
As the year draws to a close, the centre is preparing to welcome a new intake of students for 2026. While recruitment is still underway, the current team remains motivated by the dedication of those continuing their studies and the prospect of welcoming new learners next year.
Rev. Henry added, “Our focus remains on providing a high-quality learning environment, equipping students to serve their churches and communities. We are particularly excited about upcoming partnerships with Christian Art, planned teaching seminars for church leaders, and our annual Pastor’s Conference in October 2026.”
The Cape Town centre continues to grow and develop, with facilities increasingly reflecting a campus-like atmosphere. The College remains committed to enhancing the space as needs arise, ensuring that it is a welcoming and effective environment for theological study.
To support this growth, Mukhanyo Theological College is now seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer in Theology, based at the Cape Town Centre. The ideal candidate needs to be a qualified and experienced theological educator, firmly rooted in the Reformed faith, and called to serve Christ through teaching and mentoring future church leaders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an accredited Christian institution that is equipping believers for ministry across southern Africa.
